Concept
Bar Convent Brooklyn is a yearly conference held at Industry City, where the best and brightest from the beverage industry come together to taste, mix, and mingle. In 2024, we came up with a dive bar concept for our booth, called “Teddy’s”. We partnered with a group of our producers to build the most impactful booth at BCB.

My Work
My contributions to this project included a social media blitz, all marketing collateral for the event, photography at the event, and support throughout the setup-teardown.
I also spearheaded the design of the “Teddy’s” uniforms, custom jackets with the Teddy’s logo on the back and names on the front, in gorgeous chainstitch.

Impact
The impact that BCB can have is immense, and we saw incredible enthusiasm for the “Teddy’s” concept again this year. In a building full of booths that can often feel sterile, and corporate, I worked hard to make sure all marketing materials didn’t feel too polished. After all, “Teddy’s” is just your favorite dive bar, and we want everyone to feel at home.
A few years ago, there was a trend that mimicked the Adult Swim commercial bumpers from the early 2000s. I decided to play with that video concept for our socials to announce our return to BCB, and for little videos leading up to the event.
I also coordinated cocktail videos with the representatives from all collaborating brands.
In addition to the videos, I created more specific deep dives on each brand, highlighting any specific sellable points like NY based, female owned or operated, etc.
